The senior housing sites are part of the continuum of care offered through Loretto, including services ranging from independent housing to skilled nursing care. The type of housing program someone needs is determined by the nature of the support they require:
Independent Livingis for healthy, active adults who no longer want to live on their own. They may elect to pay for extras such as meals, laundry, housekeeping or personal care assistance.
Enriched Livingoffers meals, morning and evening personal care supervision, daily bed-making, weekly laundry and housekeeping services, medication reminders and overall care management. Residents will also have a Lifeline Emergency Response System in their rooms.
Adult Homeservices are very similar to those of Enriched Living.
Assisted Livingoffers all of the above plus 24-hour staff support to assist with medical intervention and activities of daily living. Many older adults who enter nursing home care, for a specific ailment or finite period of time, find they can transition to Assisted Living once the medical issue has been addressed.
Residence in Loretto’s senior housing can be paid through private funds, private insurance or by Medicaid, for those who qualify financially.
